To photograph life is to freeze a moment in time. A simple photograph posesses the power of
emotions, able to provoke anger, joy, sorrow, and awe. A photographer has the privilege of seeking out such moments and the
task of grasping the vapor of the moment, before it disappears. I have a small collection of such moments that I wish to share
with you. I pray that you enjoy them for their face value, but also the feelings, passions, and emotions provoked by such
images. A picture is not a falsity of reality, rather it is a moment suspended before your eyes so that you may see the depth
of which the moment held.
I enjoy taking pictures of the world around me. Most do not have people in them, for they are
very hard to keep still! Using a digital camera, some pictures may have different filters used on them, such as: black
and white, negative art, and solarized. I think these filters, when used correctly, help give a different perspective
on things we often see but do not appreciate. Today, appreciate the world in which you exist; it
was created for you.
